Blast from the past: TOP 2000 Blog Party 2017
Introduction:
Autumn is here and we are getting closer to the end of this year. Each december its: Top 2000 blog party organised by Marit Barentsen time. In this post I combined my blogpost from the top 2000 blog party 2017 to give you this Blast from the past post.

I will be making combined post for 2018 in november and for 2019 at the beginning of december. Just as a teaser to get you in the mood of this fun party.
Since I first joined in 2012, I now have a big stack of pages with creations inspired by this Top2000.
Because of the limited time in 2017 I decided to make small pages in a little art journal.
My entries for 2017:
nr 1955 Sausalito Summernight by Diesel
For this page I used a collage of a seaside with sun from a magazine and a picture I made from from the golden gate bridge. Added text with posca pens.

Again a collage of a magazine picture with mountains and adding text with posca pens
nr 1651 Roar by Katy Perry
Collage of a lion picture from magazin on gold watercolor paint. Added part of the lyrics with a metallic pen.
Do you see me roar (my zodiac sign is Lion so I feel connected with them)
nr 1500 New York, New York by Frank Sinatra
For this page I used a background of orange paper with collage of several new york related pictures. Also a transfer from a postcard in the left corner and letter stickers where used.
Added a heart shaped piece of paper with a part of the lyrics
nr 1495 Time after time by Cindy Lauper
Made a collage of stopwatches on a black gesso background. Added some stickers with lyrics and some pink splatter with a posca pen.
nr 1487 Dynamite by Mud
Made a collage of a girl and painted part of her clothes like sticks of dynamite.
Isn't she walking like dynamite with her ghettoblaster 😉 ?
nr 992 Scarborough Fair by Simon & Garfunkel
Made a collage of a pictures from a painting, lyrics and herbs. Added some watercolor paint and text.
nr 857 Tequila Sunrise by Eagles
Made with acrylic paint, white gesso and copic and other markers.
Nr: 735 Rain down on me from Kane
A collage on blue acrylic paint and lyrics with markers.
Nr 430: Photograph by Ed Sheeran
A simple page made with collage and lyrics with a marker. Tomorrow is already the last day of this party. This week went so fast. See you tomorrow for my last pages.
Nr 31: Master of Puppets by Metallica
A collage on a painted background with the title and lyrics made with markers.
Nr 25: Africa by Toto
A collage on a black gesso background, with red brown modelling paste and blue acrylic paint and lyrics with a white and red marker.
